Looking to find out what works best on a 5 speed. I know there are multiple brands out so the more specific the better. Don't want to buy the same mods twice.....
Thanks

lol...
will I get paid for my advice? cuz I have and had to buy some mods twice.
how about a hook up on a bottle warmer?
4.10 gears are good.. then you need mickeys. I have a JLT II cold air. the "tuner guy" said he prefers CNL.
I have a lot more information.
I have a sct tuner for your car. paid $380 for it.
talk to all the local speed shops. then go to http://www.modularfords.com/
and then make you own decision.
I think I got a brain hemorrhage trying to figure everything out.

What do you want for the tuner? I work at a speed shop and can get them at cost so let me know what you'll take. I need/want to get one because I'm picking up my car Saturday morning and having gears installed in the afternoon, I hope.

Was the programer unlocked after reloading the stock tune back to the v6?

BMR is a company that makes suspension products, they are good quality and affordable. They eliminate the bad wheel hop these cars have. I just have the lower non adjustable ones and they have been great, they make the car handle better too.

I did notice that when it spins on a sticky surface it is worse, like at the track.Going from traction to spinnin is when it happens,or a low rpm brake stand. Which you can't do without a tuner. If you just dump the clutch and get the tires spining fast it doesn't happen as much. Maybe the 06's have control arm improvements??? Could be you have stiffer springs to compensate for the larger 18" wheel? i know they did do changes for the 18"ers.
