I am running 275/35/18's right now and I need new tires. Would a 285/35/18 fit? I have 18x9 fronts.... Would they fit without any issues? thanks

Are you running those tires on a steam-roller?? 285s are HUGE for the front.

Well the 275's fit fine, i can get 285's for a good deal and I want a little taller sidewall?

Run a 45 sidewall then. The 285/35's are going to be a thinner sidewall than a 40 or 45.
I made the mistake, once, of running 55's! Let me tell you, the sidewalls were like friggen 4X4 style!!
I am sure you CAN fit a 285 in the front but, in my earlier post, I was referring to the amount of tire that would be contacting the road. If you are into drag racing, then a 245 in the front is all you need for street duty. If you like the Auto-x or Slalom type stuff, then I guess a 285 would work.
I prefer the good 'ol straight line ![[burnout]](graemlins/burnout.gif) [ July 25, 2006, 01:19 AM: Message edited by: Quick 88LX ]

it will fit, but i don't think it will look too attractive. full lock will definately rub some, but that happens with 275s anyway. going with 40 series, you will have one tall tire in the front. i'd suggest sticking with your 275/35/18 for the 18x9 wheel.
