Waddup fellas...I'm looking to getting .373's in my coupe...I want to know some shops you guys reccommend that does great work at a fair price...I don't have the gears so I'm looking for a place to purchase them and to get them installed...also on my 90 coupe I have a 02 gt rearend...that's still an 8.8 correct?? Post up

Does anyone know where to get some .373's at a good price??? Ill probably just buy the gears and get someone to do it as a side job..does anyone know if the 02 gt rearend is a 8.8???

Haulinassmaro- do you think you can pm me how much it would cost for the gears plus install...also you never called me back about fitting the cold air intkae you sold me..it seems too long since I hooked up the MAF to it....get at me!!!

Summit has the cheapest FRPP that I could find,
NOTE: If you get the gears and they are shiny send them back, you want them to be powdery black, my gear install guy said that the shinies are from china or something and the quality is bad
Also you should get either a trac-lok rebuild kit or a better posi unit

If the gears are shiny (a metallic appearance) they are more than likely used. I've had plenty of folks bring me "new" gears...only for me to tell them they were used. There is nothing wrong with used gears, as long as the wear pattern was correct and they are set up again correctly.

how much does a trac-lok rebuild kit go for and a new posi unit?? Also what do they do??

I THINK the rebuild kit was around $80, my guy reused a disc so it would have more holding power or something, Posi keeps you from doing one wheel burnouts

ill sell you this for 45 bucks
its for a ford 8.8 rear end
i didnt need it cuz my car was still pretty new when i took it to john b.
and John B does great FAST work, heard good things about Maro, but never dealt with him personally.

stupid question, but what is that? i'm waiting for johnb. you can get gears for cheaper. 163 and the new rebult kit for 30 bucks from a guy on svtperformance.
