i have had a set of white face 140 mph el glow gauge inserts for my 88 gt 5.0

Im about to install them. i was curious on the mph readings beacuse my stock gauge only goes to 85.

i know that LX stangs came factory with 140mph cluster. Also is there any trick to taking off the needle for the stock gauges?

Will my new 140 mph gauge read inaccurate? Who can do a speedometer calibration for me so my gauge reads accurate.

any help is appreciated. [patriot]

I would just try to find an 89 Cluster. LX's and GT's starting in 1989 had 140's instead of the 85. Dont get the 140 out of a 90+ car though, it won't work. White face guages suck, I bet most people will agree. I only say so because I have had them [patriot]
