I remember someone on here saying a certain type of motor mount needed modification to fit. Was that the energy suspension mounts? What brand should I but that will slap right in. Polyurethane of course.

I think the thread was refering to Prothane poly mounts. I have a set and didn't need to do any modifications. Although, they seem to move the engine up a bit higher.

OEM convertible motor mounts are just as good.
Get them from Kragen with Lifetime warrenty if you keep the receipt.
Change every couple years if necessary.

I bought the poly convertable ones from 50resto.com Just be sure to unbolt your vacuum tree. The twisting of the motor when I installed mine cracked the tree and made a leak.

they were prothane
They are too big cause they have the four bolts holding them together, also they move the motor WAY higher, I had to take off my strut towerbrace and I had to get my h-pipe re-welded to fit, a real PITA, just get OEM ones
