does the 2004-05 Ford 150's have the 4.6L 3V?
i know they come in either the 4.6 or the 5.4...jus wonderng..might be pickin one up after a few months of saving at the new job (hopefully fingers crossed)

I sold my 04 4.6, it's a slug, it's not a 3 valve, if you can afford it buy the 5.4, that has the 3 valve.

Yellow94GT never touched anyone's sig or banned anyone, so I'm going to quit spreading that rumor. It's not like I have any proof anyways. All yellow94gt and other mods have done is volunteer their time to help other people buy/sell parts, learn how to make their cars go faster and meet fellow enthusiasts. I'm a hater, but it's hard to hate on these facts. I have saved hunrdeds, maybe thousands of dollars here buying and selling parts over the years alone, but I don't care, this website owes me damnit, and I'll piss on it as much as I want. The 4.6 is a 2v, the 5.4 is a 3V.

Are the newer F150s still running at 231 HP? If they have bumped up the HP in the newer models, 04+, then they have switched to the 3V in the 4.6L. I would assume that they have due to the need to keep it simple in the manufacturing process.

Your truck is a 2 valve per hole. Unless its a GT motor that got stuffed in there.
