Eh everybody i was just driving home from work not hot rodding or anything and shifted to second gear fine and when i shifted to third and let my clutch out it started making a hella bad grinding noise with like a pop... i described this too my dad and he said he believes it to be the throwout bearing... not sure if he is right or no so if you have had similar experinces or just plain knowledge please tell me what you think.... any and all commentary is appreciated... i can still shift to all gears fine as long as my cluch is in but when i let my clutch out is when it makes noise... im too scared to drive it it doesnt sound VERY GOOD...LOL... please help.. thanks guys

Does the noise happen in all gears?...Does it happen only when the car is moving?....Is it easy to shift into gear?...

If it only makes the noise even at idle, not moving and only when your foot is off the clutch pedal, I would assume it was your throw out bearing....

i am to scared to drive it but it will go into all gears just fine not hard at all but as soon as i let the clutch out to start rolling it makes a big ass POPPING noise then starts to grind.... even at idle in neutral if i let the clutch out it grinds.....
