Some smog guys wont pass a loping car just because they know it has a cam. Do you know the smog guy? If all the smog equipment is working, you should be fine with almost any cam. I've personally got all the alphabet cams to pass, even with 1.7's. I had TrickFlow heads, four stock cats, flowies, stock H-pipe, all smog equip working, and she passed with flying colors. This was also at a Test Only station.<br /><br />My compression is around 10.34:1. I put the timing back stock and ran 89 octane fuel. Remember, visual is no biggie as long as all smog equipment is hooked up. <br /><br />10.5-1 331 stroker, 80mm C&L, 75mm TB, RPM II (opened up to 75mm), 36lb or 42lb injectors, AFR 185's (61cc), 1.6 RR, & XE282HR cam.<br /><br />For the exhaust I can run shorty headers with the stock H-pipe or BBK 1 3/4" LT's, & high flow cats. <br /> </font> </td></tr> </table></td></tr></table> <br /> <br />
