I know that long tube headers are illegal, but if installed will it pass smog?

just installing the headers shouldnt make the car not pass the sniffer as long as you get the shortie h/x with cats for the LT, and keep your smog equipment

You will still fail the visual part of the smog, but you can pass the sniffer with long tubes and cats.
