i would suggest 15/8 with a 5.5 backspacing

I ran a 15x10 prostar with a 6.5" backspacing and a 28x10.50x15 MT ET Drag slick on my 88 GT

Most common will be 15x8 w/ 5.5
Some people like 4.5BS so the rim sits flush with the fender.
Don't forget the 3inch studs

I'd thought you'd might be interested in what I just posted this afternoon in the for-sale column. My weld rims are posted under todays date in the for sale listings titled WELD PRO STAR / SLICKS-TIRES 28x10.5-15 with a 5.5 backspacing for almost 1/2 the price summit is selling them for.
