how do i set the volts on a tps on a 5.0???

Probe the green and black wire with your meter with the key on, engine off. The reading is optimal at .98-.99 or so but people have gone less with good results just get it under 1. If you cant get it under 1 enlarge the hole with a drill to allow more adjustment. Also it will need to be moved counter clockwise to lower the reading.

The wire colors are the same for foxbodies. You want 0.85 to 0.95 volts. Prefably somewhere in the middle.

on the newer stangs, you will get a reading of .5-1V at idle and increasing to 4-5V at WOT.

ODB II cars including the 94-95 stangs automatically zero in the TPS voltage via the EEC so you don't need to play with the TPS voltage. It's only a foxbody thing.
