Car is bogging from around 3300 and up still. I changed my fuel pump with a 255, and got a new granetelli massair on it and reset the computer and it's still doing the same thing [Mad] , I was woundering could it have anything to do with my spyder intake or maybe a vacumn leak, but brandon hooked it up for so it should be cool, he knows what he's doing. Any suggestions i would appreiciate. Thanks [patriot]

I had a similar problem and i needed more fuel pressure, i currently am running 45 psi with the vacumm connected and the motor seems to run the best that way. Before i would get on it and it seemed like it was just getting air and not fuel and wouldn't rev over 4,000 rpms. Hopefully that helps.

How do the plug wires look? Any burnt boots? They could be arcing agenst the header tubes at a higher RPM.

yes i got the gauge on there, it's at 40 with the vacumn off, and it's like 33 or something with it on, the wires are brand new.

sounds like the vaccum is ok if the fuel pressure gauge drops 6-7 psi when the hose is disconnected. If it was a bad vaccum leak your idle would be very rough. It never hurts to check the EGR and the PCV valve either. Have you checked the spark plugs and given them all the once over. With bigger injectors I've been told that fuel pressure should be lowered and timing advanced a few extra degrees.good luck.

what is your timing set at? your fuel should be good set around 40psi with the 30's but its never hurts to try more fuel, are you sure your gauge is right..my gauge has took a shit on me once or twice.also granetelli massair meeters are shit, but i dont think thats your problem, check you gauge, set your timing and play with your fuel, things should work good
