So I was coming home from Fremont today going back to Alameda and twice my car stalled on me, once I was in second gear and all of a sudden she just died on me, the second time, I just parked her and it's like she almost didn't want to turn over, I tried to turn the car over again and finally it started normal. Any suggestions? The car has 46k miles on it and I don't know when the last tune up was done, I always do my oil changes at 3k or less.
Please give me any suggestions, do you think I may need a new starter or new spark plugs? Or maybe even a new battery? I only am running one 12 inch Pioneer in sub in the trunk right now. Let me know what you think, post or pm me. I just don't want my car to completely die on me before I can and able to fix the problem.
My car is a 2003.

That wouldn't cause it to stall. That would only make it have a f'd up noise while cranking. Some things that come to mind of what it MIGHT be....... fuel starvation (i.e. clogged fuel filter) or mabye a sticking IAC valve. If it's under warranty don't trip and take it in. If something goes wrong again 2,000 from now then worry about it.

Thanks you guys, I'm going to try and bring it on Monday and have it looked at and see what's wrong, thanks for your guys help. I appreciate it. I may need a new fuel filter but I'm going to check the IAC valve, anybody know how much that's going to run me if I need it done especially after the warrenty goes out.

130 amp is stock...what I am wondering is if you have changed your fuel filter in that 40,000+ miles? Also, it could be fuel pump related. You aren't getting a SES light, I assume, so a misfire would be out of the question. [ February 15, 2006, 03:35 AM: Message edited by: mf150 ]

Yeah I'm also wondering if the fuel filter has been changed as well, I have no idea I bought this car last summer and I am the second owner on it, I haven't time to take it in because of school and work but i'm going to soon and no I haven't seen the SES light go on. Let me know if you have any other possible solutions.

I'm having what feels like a lean missfire at varying RPM's and throttle positions with my Mach. I've also been thinking fuel pump but haven't had the time to check it out. Keep us posted.
