Just got the car running finally, and on the way home if i would down shift it would start bogging at aroung 35-4000rpm's and up, but it started bogging somewhere different everytime, fuel pressure is set at 40, and i have a new pump in there. I dont didn't have a o2 harness on there cause i had the wrong one, the question is could that of been causing the problem. thanks

O2 sensors are critical after your car warms up, unless the gas pedal is floored. Get the right O2 sensor harness on there and your problems should go away.

It could also be a bad VSS (vehicle speed sensor) goes from your harness to the tranny.

O2 SENSORS BUDDY- TRY IT FIRST- IT IS THE CHEAPEST ROUTE- IM PRETTY SURE THATS IT- IF IT DOESN'T HELP LET US KNOW- ABOUT 6 MONTHS AGO MY CAR COUPE WAS RUNNING LIKE CRAP- I CHECKED EVERYTHING- AND NOTHING- IT FELT LIKE IT HAD NO POWER- I TOOK IT TO MY MECHANIC- I HAD ONE FRIED UP O2 SENSOR AND THE OTHER WASN'T THERE- GO FIGURE - CHANGED THEM AND I FELT THE DIFFERENCE-

MAF! if your mass air sensor is dirty, your car wont know how much fuel to put in so it screws everything up. that explains the 02 sensors, my car did the same thing. it was a dirty mass air meter.

I am pretty sure it is not too rich. My bet is on the MAF also.

checked the massair today and somehow the sensor probably before it got put on got alot of water in it, so i took it off and dryed it out best i could and tryed it again but still no luck, so I think the sensor is messed up so I'm going to get a whole new massair. Also if it's not that could it be the pump went bad, or to small for the 30's.
