im swaping a stright six motor to a 302 in my 65 stang and i have a c4 tranny is there any way i can use the same torque converter the was in the six or do i have to buy a new one. thanks for the help.

i would honestly try to find a c4 for a v8. Or if you want overdrive, you can pick up an aod for cheap...

Don't try to save a buck on the converter! It is the most important part to pay attention to in an automatic setup. Call Andre at Edge Custom Configured Performance Torque Converters! Guarantee You will be thanking Me if You do get one! Best thing I did for My car was getting one Myself. Call Andre at 1-888-350-edge or online @ www.EdgeRacingConverters.com. He knocked 3/4 of a second off My 1/4 mile time with no other changes and the seat of the pant's feeling is incredible.
