when ever i get on it aroun 5500 i get bad vibration in the shifter what do u think it could be

also could be your balancer, stock harmonic balancers are only supposed to be good to 5200. see if the rubber is coming out of it yet or if it is still plush

Could be driveline bolts, but if you have lower gears in there the stock drivline will cause vibrations. Does it vibrate if you free rev the motor? If so, then I would say balancer.

he said rpm not speed so ill bet its your balancer.
