The reason why it seems to smooth out above 3000 RPMS is because the momentum of the engine revolutions will carry it past the misfire. An injector not spraying will cause a lean misfire, but the most common problem is an ignition misfire (plugs, wires, cap, rotor). An easy way to check if the wires are causing the misfire is to spray some water on the spark plug wires with the engine running. If the wires are the culprit, you should be able to see or hear them arc. <br /> </font> </td></tr> </table></td></tr></table> <br /> <br />
