Ok, I finally have the money to "finish" my car. Here is going to be the setup: TF tw heads TF track heat intake TF stage 1 cam Accufab tb (can't remember the size) 30lb injectors stock block Calibrated Pro-m MAF for the injectors 255lph pump stock pullies full exhaust
going to have a vortech strim whcih has been sitting in my garage for over a year.
My goal is ~400rwhp...should I buy a new MAF and injectors? Can I get away with what I have? I need to order this crap this week if I should buy it, i'm an idiot when it comes to this stuff, I'm hiring someone local to install it for example. I'm sticking with the stock block for now, hoping to push it with the stock strim pulley (about 6lbs I believe, could be wrong)
Please help!
edit- everything but the vortech is installed and running for about 2.5 years now on the stock computer. [ December 18, 2005, 06:48 PM: Message edited by: The Rick ]

if you run anymore than 6lbs. of boost...you'll more than likely need the 42's with a calibration...put it on a dyno first to see if you can get it tuned for 30's

Upgrade to 42's and a custom tune. What size pulley are you running on the blower? 3.33 should give you 8lbs of boost.

Finally getting that thing on!! I would recommend 36# injectors at least, and since they are no longer made by Ford, 42's are what you should get.
Good luck

Hey whats up man? Yes, i'm finally getting around to it. I got promoted in august and just haven't had the time or anything. I got in a wreck in the wrx and have been driving it around for a month (in the rain ) and its made me 'power hungry' again
I would love to have you do the work but living in sacramento now, its just to far unfortunately!
Ok, any suggestion on what brands of MAF or injectors to run? I was looking around a bit, seems like i can find some used 42's for about 200$ or so, about 400$ new.

Go with the used ones, in my opinion. Try to find a set with a matching MAF, Corral or Ebay should have a few. [ December 18, 2005, 10:19 PM: Message edited by: silverLX ]
