im trying to see about replacing my door jam switch.mine doesnt look liek this 1 has a cable coming out of it im guessing hooks up to a wire that goes into teh seat belt casing.http://www.latemodelrestoration.com/lrs.aspx?ref=mu&gotopage=/content_50_home.aspx anyone know why mine dont look liek that ..and if i get this part at a junk yard do i have to take the part on teh seat belt to?>im not sure really how these work.someone please help with any info!!!

what does that 1 switch do in teh door jamb that goes to the seatbelt?..

i think it recoils the seatbelt when the door opens.
