anybody here gone from power steering to manual on their foxes? how noticeably harder is it? i think my power steering pump took a crap on me.. it's really hard to turn the wheel both left and right, the powersteering sounds like it has a hermonica up there and really hesitates to turn.. lol.. is it worth just repairing than swapping over to a manual?

I think a new power steering pump is around $60, and yes i thnk its worth replacing i've had a few friends that bought their 5.0 without p/s and they hated it.

NO power steering is alright for a weekend car but if I had to drive it everyday it's a little bit of a pain. You can manage it but your arms will get bigger LOL, parallel parking is a pain in the ass, so are 3(9) point turns.

My opinion also, I would stick with power steering unless I rarely drove the car.

Well after driving my car for the first time in 2 weeks I disagree with what I previously wrote, it's easy but you have to get used to it.
