Ive know a lot of people are having issues with the tremec 3650 shifting into gear and whatnot. I was browsing Mustangworlds forum today and a poster broght up the subject again and asked what he should do. A member on the site told him to go to a Ford dealership and have the perfrom service (TSB) 04-15-6. The replier stated that Ford will change about a $1000 worth of parts free of charge and will also place a sticker on the tranny stating not to put in more than 3.2 qts of fluid at fill time. Does anyone know if there is any validity to this claim. And has anyone had this service done, and if so where and were you charged at all. Thank you

ford replaced my tranny or the internals on 3 occasions. My two cents says that nothing is free ever, and less often when Ford is involved.
TSB is an advisory of a known issue. It is not a way to get a free service or repair. Warranty and busticated parts is how to get free fixin done.
