Are the zex kits tuneable? I read somewhere that they are hard to tune because they have the active fuel control box that tells the nitrous what to do?

The NX kit won't need a tune. I don't know about the purple stuff though (ZEX)

whats wrong w/ the NOS kits?
every kit out there, is an imitation of the nos kits, right down to the interchangable nitrous and fuel jets.
i have used the nos 5115 and the zex dry kits both.
i like both of them, they are both ez installs, the zex is easier, and the zex also has tps activated wot , instead of micrswitch wot.
the zex also has pre-assembled selonoids and reg(it's all in the box)where the NOS has to be put together.
if your gonna go w/ 75-100 shot dry.....just get the zex.
if you plan on later going 125+ get the NOS.

I dont plan on going with a big shot thats why im thinking "dry" and a zex. How are the power ratings on the zex kits.... how much power to the rear will the 75 shot give me?

i love my nx, but with a nx kit u have to get more stuff to run on the safe side, like bottle warmer and window switch, full throttle switch. From what i have been told nx is the kit that u make the most hp for the shot.
