You get what you pay for. I've never really considered using Flowtech. I know some people that have used them on thier Silverado's and Camaro's and had the welds crack on the exhuast flanges on the heads.

I would spend the money and get something better. Flowtech is cheap junk. I bought a pair of MAC LT's on ebay for $170. They were like $400 new, and they are still like new.

I have heard some good things about them. I would get the ceramic ones though and get the matching x-pipe. It is very common to crack your headers. espesialy with mustangs if you go over a speed bump and come down on your pipes you could break your headers. I did it to my FMS shorties. I would get a pair but I plan on going turbo.

they arent smog legal becuase the o2 sensor is moved so far back that the sensor isnt hot enough to read the a/f mixture in the exhuast, and the exhuast has cooled enough for the sensor not to read. something like that from what i was told

Flowtechs suck.....Stay away from them. They have super thin flanges that warp, and you are almost guaranteed an exhaust leak. If you put them on, you can count on having to pull em back off when they leak.
