Author Topic: Temp issues Blue Oval ¯ Member # 2548 posted                              Im haveing temp issues with my 89 gt.the temp is jumpin around spuraticly from about the half way line to almost the red zone.the car has a new clucth fan,water pump is a year old(auto zone part),brand new thermostat 195*,new radiator cap,and i have flushed the system,and replaced with a 50/50 mix,the cooling system seems to not be holding any pressure,i dont see any pin holes or leaks in the radiator.any ideas on where i should go next?thanks -------------------- 65 Coupe 306, AFR's 89 Cali. They do this by adding a dye into the coolant and inspecting the entire system for leaks using a black light. Shouldn't be too much money, but it may not be a radiator. Could be heater core, that goofy heat block on the intake at the throttle body, who knows.
