looking to swap out my stock h with either some o/r midpipe. i have race bullets welded in so either way i know it's gonna be loud. anyways, i know x-pipes have a more exotic tone, but i'm looking for a more muscle car like rumble, raspy kind of tone. a buddy recommended a prochamber, anyone know how that would sound?

i have a prochaber with prostreets. its sounds cool at low rpms like a muscle car. and upper rpms it sounds more like a race car/nascar

thats cool. anyone know of other h-pipes i should take a look at? i know the prochamber is more of a hybrid between the two, but i'm trying to stay away from an x-pipe.

I have a MAC, but wouldn't buy another. Fits like ****, cheaply made, flanges bend and so on. It was CHEAP, though....

I've had a MAC O/R H-pipe, BBK O/R H-pipe, and now Bassani O/R X-pipe. All I can say is I wish I just saved the time and did the x-pipe first, the car feels a lot better with the x-pipe and sounds much more cleaner and raspy than any others I had.

I had Bassani ss x-pipes w/ cats & ss full cat back system on my old 2000 GT and it sounds really cool. Lots of compliments. But I don't think it did it made any difference on hp, didn't get the chance to have it dynod. It was pretty loud though, I can barely talk on the phone if I'm cruising on 65mph. But if sound is what you want it's the way to go. Oh and it did pass smog! But I traded it in for the Cobra.

I personally love the way Bassani sounds BUT MAC sounds pretty good too. Bassani sounds more exotic and MAC sounds more musle car. If you ever want to compare how they sound come by the shop as we ALWAYS have cars that have Bassani and sometimes have cars with MAC on them. I am sure the guys would be more than happy to let you hear the cars if you want.

I have a Bassani X-pipe w/hi-flow cats and a Bassani catback. It's actually very quiet at idle. At low rpms, they have that muscle car tone, then once past 3k rpms, it has more of an exotic nascar-like tone. I have 4.10's also so at 70mph it's at about 2.5k rpms and the drone is race-car like. I love it.

i'm pretty sure apex sells them, probably some muffler shops as well. typically for the lowest prices, searching the web is your best bet.

Yup we carry Bassani and usually have what you are looking for in stock.
