I need some help with my pilot bearing on my 98 mustang 4.6L. I tried using pb blaster, slide hammer and even packing it with grease and forcing it out but with no luck at all. It wont budge. Can someone give me some pointers on a sure way to get it out. I dont care if it gets damaged, I am replacing it.

stuff it with grease then jam a bolt in there and with enough force it should pop out

What blind said is a good idea and if that doesn't work you could just drilling it out...I've used really small drill bits to damage them enough to pull them out with pliars(not the best way, especially if you damage your crank)...Mind you, of all the pilot bearings I've replaced the puller with the threaded bolt works the best, I've never had good luck with the slide hammer puller.....
Good luck...

I hope I dont have to resort to drilling it, but I'll ask anyone at work if they have that puller with the threaded bolt. I'll be back tomorow if I'm still having problems.
