if its an auto, get 4.10 gears in the rear, if its a 5spd get 3.73's

then get full length sub frame connectors

after that a set of drag radial tires and it will be a 100% completely different car to drive [patriot]

Before you start engine mods I would work on your chasis, suspension and brakes. You will enjoy your car alot more if you improve those areas first before you work on the engine.

Here is the list of mods in the order i would do them if they have not been done yet

#1-Subframe Connecters
#2-Rear End Gears
#3-Shocks, Springs, and control arms
#4-Hawk Brake pads (If you have more money get a set of 13" Cobra front brakes for $399.99)
#5-Gears
#6-Exhaust
#7-At this point you need to decide how you want to increase power... supercharger, nitrous, normally aspirated.

Before you do anything to your engine I would get a compression test since it has 125K miles. You don't wanna dump money into engine mods to find out your engine is weak.

2---Rear end (3.73)

Personally I don't think that getting gears should be one of the first things that you should do. Gears are great, if you have the motor to pull them the entire way down that 1320.

I guarantee that if you came up against another 94 vert that has a few bolts on and stock gears, you may get him on the hole shot but he'd take you on top end.

Do a tune up and a compression check first. Then I would go with chassis/suspension/brakes. Then start on doing engine mods, when you get some bolt ons, then get yourself some gears.

That's just my opinion, I'm not an expert, just giving ya something to think about. [Smile]

I disagree... I feel that gears are a good 1st step... i wish that I would have put the 3.73s in my old auto 94gt 1st... great SOTP feel and not that expensive

well for my first mods i did ( all at once) a fenderwell cold air, 65mm TB and egr spacer, offroad h-pipe, and a full tune up with msd cap/rotor/coil/wires and good plugs and its definitly a different car, didnt cost a ton either.

After you do gears and chassis stuff I would get a good set of aluminum heads.
