i just got an aluminum rad. and i have an idea of what i want to run, just seeing what everyone else runs. the car has also has aluminum heads.

I run the orange coolant (50/50 water mix). Make sure that whatever you run says "ok for use in aluminum radiators"

Fluidyne recommended using the green ones(prestone, zerex, peak etc) with distilled water, which is what I used with watter wetter.

80% water, 20% prestone, and Royal Purple...Purple Ice.....I used to use Water Wetter but saw nearly about 10 degrees lower using purple ice...

if your fans are not programmed to come on earlier like at 160 then they come on at stock temp which i believe is 195 or 210 i cant remember which is what actually helps cooling. A lower temp thermostat by itself does not actually help cooling.

Purple Ice reduced my water temp by about 10 degrees.
Shakalaka, ditch that 160 stat. It's bad for you car. Get a 180.
