Thats right.. sluggish is the word for it. The car seems to take off so slow on WOT. It use to be a lot quicker on WOT but it seems to launch like I weigh 1000 lbs or something. I did a tune up, replaced plugs, clean filter, change plug wires, cap and rotors. haven't checked on the timing yet (I set it at 12 deg before about a few yrs back), changed the TPS (at first I thought this did it, but the next day i was testing it by flooring it it seem to have a sluggish response unlike before. Another note: sometimes on startup it has some hesitation on idle, i have to wait a few min and it will dissapear (seems like its waiting to warm up or something). Kinda feels like I have a bad spark plug or something. After its warm it idles and runs ok again Any input would be truly appreciated. Here are specs of my 89 GT.

- Cobra Intake
- Comp Cams stage 1 cams
- Brodix Aluminum Heads
- AOD with Trans Go shift kit
- 24 lb injectors
- Pro-m 75mm MAM
- 3.73 gears
- Flowmaster
- FMS coated headers
- kn filter
- underdrive puleys
- 3 core radiator.
- Suspension Stuff, FMS springs, subframe connectors
and a few little things I dont even remember.

Any help would be truly appreciated. Thanks in advance for your inputs.

How many miles does your bottom end have? Have you done a compression test? If you have alot of miles you may have a dead cyclinder.

Engine has approx 50k on it on rebuilt. If I remember correctly it supposedly had 36k when I bought the entire setup from a fellow Cafords member (jmcclesk) and I have put about approx 20k miles since.

No I have not done a compression test yet, I am trying to pull codes from it but darn I couldnt find my code scanner =(. I know that would at least tell me a few things.
