I have a 700 hp egine in my 1989 mustang. I need a tranny now. I think I am going to buy a new tremec tko 600. But the problem is that the tranny only holds 600 hp. My engine has 749hp. Will the tranny get fucked up?
Thanks

If you have that much RWHP you should give us a call because our Kevlar clutch is capable of holding over 700RWHP+ If you need a tranny also we can help you with that also.

You gotta be more specific brother.
You can get a Baumannator kit but we don't know what the hell you're using the car for.

I got a 393 stroker with a procharger supercharger with a 3 core intercooler amking 749hp.
I got a new center force dual friction clutch will that do?
Will a tremec tko 600 do?
I just use my mustang for riding around town every other weekend and showing kids how a coupe is capable of doing at street races now and then.

if you call D&D they can build the TKO 600 of handling that...they normally handle around 650RWTQ....so thats what is more important...
If you're serious about dragging though..you REALLY should go automatic.
the dual friction will NOT hold up...you'll need a kevlar or better
