MM&FF did a muffler shootout months ago and the results showed flowmaster mufflers being one of the top 3 best flowing mufflers on the market. Borla was near the top (if not THE #1) muffler at the time. One of the reasons saleen used them for a while.
The article is old, I realize that, but flowmaster mufflers are not shitty mufflers for performance. They may not be the best, but they are far from the worst. But I've never heard of coffin mufflers before...

It's funny cause 90% of mustang owners have flowmasters, but someone always has something bad to say about them. I've never had a problem w/ flows and they sounds quite nice IMHO especially w/ a O/R h-pipe. I had dumps, flows, and an O/R pipe, but was too much drone so I switch back to tailpipes. Maybe it was because I have a vert. Go w/ American Thunder Flows 2-Chambers. Good Luck [ August 17, 2005, 03:52 PM: Message edited by: CLEEN 50 ]
