I just baught a 98 GT and was trying to figure out what to do for exhaust. I had previously planned on putting an o/r X pipe on but now am just condisering putting 2chamber flowmasters. Does anyone have 2 chamber flows on their GT and how does it sound? Thanks for any replies.

Anyone think that 2 chambers with stock pipes would sound beefy enough? I had a chevelle with 2 chambers and it sounded great, but im curious what they would sound like on a newer car such as my mustang.

I had 2 chamber flows on my old 95 w/ a MAC o/r H... Sounded nice, but I took 'em off for a Magnaflow side exhaust. [ August 03, 2005, 06:46 PM: Message edited by: 03SHKER ]

i had done several exhuasts on my 97GT..
2 chamber flows with stock mid pipe wont sound good at all..it will sound just a tad bit higher and louder than the stock exhuast.
i had a bbk off road H-pipe and 2chamber flows with 2.5" tailpipes and 3" tips..sounded so nice! thnen did the PI Swap and manifolds didnt line up with the bbk H.
then went with bassani catted x-pipe and borla mufflers turned down..HATED it..not loud or good sounding AT ALL!!! ditched the borlas and got some more 2 chambers from Sal
the FINAL exhaust on the 97 before i got rid of it was a bassani catted xpipe with 2 chamber flows with 2.5" tails and 3" tips...best sounding exhuast i have heard..you should try that one..you wont be dissapointed
