just a quick question, is it worth porting out stock 5.0 heads and upgrade roller rockets.

no its not worth it. The "rockets" should help though It would be more cost effective to look for a good set of used aftermarket heads.

i don't think he means worth it as in money wise, cause he'll probably get a nice ass price for the porting, but whether it's worth doing it for hp while keeping the stock heads

if you can get a good deal on ported heads or know how to port yourself, then i say it is worth it...ran 12.7 @ 108 full entirior 90gt mustang, with regular bolts ons and slicks(on stock home ported heads)...

onesicklx, was it hard to port the heads yourself, i was reading on that last night but i'm not familier with porting that well. I could do a intake but heads i'm scare to do it.

If you are on a tight budget then pickup a set of used GT-40 irons. They can be had for between $350-$500 a set.
While you are at it add some 1.6 RR's and an E303 cam.
