Car runs cool except for when I make hard turns and punch it, i get a smell like oil is burning, and black smoke comes out the exhaust. WTF? set up is basic 1999 GT....O/R x-pipe...maganaflow mufflers, stock motor. no oil leakage in the driveway, but I do see a little layer of oil (i think it's oil) on the driver side valve cover. Any help is much appreciated. thx

Black smoke is not oil in the exhaust, nor would you likely smell it coming out the tailpipes. My guess is Power steering leaking onto the engine when you make these turns. If it's in the drivers side, it would explain the oil, too....

No, that's usually too much fuel. How much black smoke? Just a quick puff?
