ok, i Already have the gaskets but should i buy spay a gasket can and spray some on the gaskets? its for the timing chain cover and water pump. and what is the torqe specs for the cover . thanks guys. let me know what you guys think. i just hate using rtv. pls let me know what you guys do im about to do this right now. eddie

for the cover and water pump.....use the gaskets and a little rtv...not a but load...but you'll be happy you did....avoid the spray can...just use the squeeze tube...holds up better...


not much you need for tq. specs....their 18 to 25 ft. lbs I believe...ARP bolts or stock? if its ARP use the ARP assembly lube as well and tq to abotu 26 to 28 lbs....hand tightening work well in this case...
