Im trying to put on my o/r h pipe and have ran in to some problems, the studs on the collector plates are stripped to hell. i bought bolts to replace them but i cant get the old ones out. My brother,two of my friends nor i could get them out. any ideas from anyone?????

Why cant you get them out [Confused] Are they welded in?

have you tried the 2 nut method? No pun intended. Put one nut on and then another ontop of it. Tighten the hell out of them together and it will lock onto the stud then take it off. If its welded on hope you got arnold arms!

opps i didnt see the stripped part. There is a tool for stripped studs. It will make life easier. It goes around the bottom of the studd and locks onto it when lefty for loosy. Im sure you can find it. Also penetrating lube works well in combination

cut it off then drill it out and tack weld the new ones in there.
