When you install a bigger pulley you have to install some sort of tune. I have been running a 6lb lower for almost a year. Unless he had a really shitty tune, or no tune at all, i cannot see how he blew the motor...<br /><br />But for mods, tell him to get his blower ported as the first step. It cannot be detected by the dealership, and it really makes the blowr more efficient. Go to this website for the porting <a href="http://www.stiegemeier.com/index1.html" target="_blank">http://www.stiegemeier.com/index1.html</a><br />Get the normal CAI and run a 4lb lower pulley. This will give him the same amount of hp as the 6lber would because the porting gives an extra 2lbs of boost.
