im going to be buying an engine from nick(89point) and i want to know how to clean an engine block to that the rust and grime off it before it gets bored.thanks

if it's being bored just let the machine shop handle it

my friend is going to bore the engine for me , he has the machinary at his house to do that. and i just have to clean it before it gets bored

Take it to a machine shop and have it hot tanked.

engine degreeser.. let sit... wash off light brass brush... don't scratch metal brake cleaner all over pressure washer may help to
