Oil pressure is totally different from the amount of oil in your engine.

Did you just look at the guage for the first time today or has it always been low? Was there a sudden change?

What exactly is "low"...being more specific about where it is on the guage would help.

If you really have low oil pressure it's bad news and could be a number of things.

It really could be a lot of things...gauge could be broken, oil pump could be broken or clogged, bearings could be gone, or other things.

I'd advise against driving the car when pressure is really low. You should have someone take a look at it.

change the sensor first. i'm pretty sure on 94+ mustangs they are just dummy guages, meaning that below 5psi of oil pressure the guage will be in the red and anything over that it is above that. normally they dont move at all. normal oil pressure should change with the rpms so its probably the sensor. if the pressure were really that low, you would hear it
