i'm getting a 93 t5 outta a 4cyl mustang
just wondering if i needed to change any parts on the 4banger t5 tranny before jamming it behind my 5.0?
my buddy says it'll bolt right up.
i also heard i might have to change out the input shaft from another friend.

That's GAY. Get a T5 out of a 5 liter
I've seen IDIOTS go through half a dozen 4 banger T5's on stock motors.....

All you need is a different pilot bearing...one from an 84 Ford Ranger Diesel. The 4cyl tranny's dont last long, but will work for a little while ![[patriot]](graemlins/patriot.gif)

HMMMMM.
I think all you had to say was the 4 cylinder trans is alot weaker than the 5.0 trans.
So I would not advise you to do that.Save up for a 5.0 t-5 and save yourself some work.

hidden nos,i meet someone at my local drag strip.this guy powershift the sh:t outta his 4cyl
t-5,going 7.40's @97MPH in the 1/8 .motor car.
stock5.0 motor w/cut stock pistons for afr 185
and edelbrock victor 5.0 efi.
also another idiot running a motor 331 w 4cyl t5
going fast as hell every week
but thats besides the point this t5 im getting is for a 89 lx 5.0 currentlt automatic
doing the swap to help me sell the car.

the car is being sold down here dont sweet it.
i have a buyer that doesnt want an automatic
wants a 5spd the damn car is bone stock.
the buyer owns a gt with whatever doen't f n matter,an s-trim is one thing the 4banger t5 is the next.he doesnt mind the swap ,his idea.
the automatic in my the car now just lost overdrive.
so this is the best soultion i could go with for the cost hence 4cyl t5
you people probably have v8 t5 everywhere!!
but down here you be lucky to find one used outta a 88 for $400
i got this low miles 93 t5 for $50

my friend who is buying it .is gonna give me

i dont mind knowing someone thinks i'm dumb when i just made $1400 off selling a mustang

i'm definetly not trying to break even on this
car ,i got to eat to ya know,
i think is a fair deal and it comes w/all the aod parts
the original deal was the car as is w/ sliping aod no pony rims
for $1400
add the t5 work and the ponys 1800
car is clean no dents new 6piece heads light
fairly recent paint job interior is good -black-
motor run really good at 170k.ready for smog
he could make his money back if he ever decided to part out.
my buddy says he can get a 5.0 t5 when his friend gets his wrecked 91 gt back from a collision center.so this is a temp thing for you
mofo that did'nt understand that by now.
i'm very loyal and honest ,the guy bying the car knows what hes getting,he brought over a clutch fork and bell today
i need less talk
and need more good positive info

he's right about the 84ranger deisel pilot bearing but the stock 4cly tranny is not going to last, but if u run a svo 4cly tranny will last awhile, my car made 254 on the dyno with an svo tranny, their rating like 20 under a stock 5.0 t5, just to let u know, but good luck with the sale... ![[Cool]](cool.gif)

the aod was burning out ..had to do somthing
works fine.its not a v8 t5 but it'll hold fine till he gets his other.i told him i'll put it in \for free when its avalible
