do i have to remove the rr? i have the intake,dist,valve covers off and im ready to pull the heads?

oh, if you're talking about roller rockers, then yes, take them off cause they're going to have to come off before the heads go back on anyway.

you might as well take them off, they will have to be loosened and reset on reassembly anyway
pulling the heads off with the pushrods still in is kind of a pain, especially with iron heads, the weight
will only take a minute, take the rockers off and take out the pushrods, then get those jr's off
word of advise, IIRC some of the lifters cannot come out or go in when the heads are on
so when you re assemble the motor, make sure to have the lifters, cam, and everything put together before you slap the heads on, dont want to take everything apart again

the head shave a stamp on them... jr what type of heads are these. that the only stamps they have?
