I think 550-600 sounds about right, like Twisted said, IF yo can hook. Jeff S ran a 10.96 in his 03 Cobra. That was with 580rwhp, ET drags, 1.66 60 ft. Obviously, without that good 60 ft, he wouldn't of made it. I witnessed that run, it was sik.

OK would somebody please explain to me why it takes more rwhp for a blown car to run 10's than a NA car? Is NA rear wheel hp better HP than blown rear wheel HP? I have read this a few times on here and don't understand this. Do dyno wheels know if a car is blown if nothing is entered in the computer about it?

I was wondering myself, i figured it was because the powerband isnt the same and the avearge hp numbers arent as good as the peak numbers with a blower because you dont reach your full potential until you make full boost. It shouldn't take 600hp to be in the 10s though if its s strictly drag car. In a 3200lb car on slicks you could do it with 450rwhp i think.

Over 450 to the rear. The car would have to be set up perfect (suspension) and you'd have to be one heck of a driver.
My car, in FULL (read:AC, full leather interior, the works) went 11.02@125+. It's weighing in well over 3450+ with me in it. Car turned 468 to the rear.

Mineral, your car and you weigh about 3600 lbs in stock./street trim. I still think you're gonna need 550 to the wheels, unless you are one hellavu driver, to get into the 10's. JohnB, Yellow, and 2stangs are all track boys, they're gonna do more with less , we on the other hand are gonna need a bit more to get there. But nothin' wrong with havin' a 600 hp street car, ehh?
edit: I have an aquaintence who has a stock 01 gt (except no back seats)with 150 shot. So if my math is right, he puts about 400 to the wheels. He ran a 11.5 on slicks. Hadda 1.6 60 ft...So as you can see, even with a good launch he missed 10's by a half sec. with 400 to the wheels. [ April 24, 2005, 09:10 PM: Message edited by: RixSikCobra ]

NO2 rox. With my 150 shot I should be pushin' 650 to the wheels, with slicks and a little luck, I should maybe make it to 10's. We'll see this weekend. [ April 24, 2005, 09:16 PM: Message edited by: RixSikCobra ]

I think you'll see more power than that with a 150 shot since your car is blown, rick, maybe even that 700 you were looking for Did you make and dyno pulls with the 150 shot?

I'm hoping too...
There was 00GT at Sac not too long ago that was pulling 12.80s n/a and 11.50s on the bottle.
I'm making a little over 300 to the wheels and am at 12.19. If I can drop it to 11.99 with out adding any more power, I'm gonna put on a NX 150 shot on and hopefully drop a second and go into the 10s...HOPEFULLY
