Well my king cobra clutch has started to slip and it's time for a new clutch. I've been thinking about getting a CF DF clutch, but I did a search on the subject some had good/bad things to say about them.

I looking for a clutch that grabs great, minimal pedal effort, no chatter, and will last fairly long. My car is fairly stock except for an O.R. H-pipe and flows and 3.73 are going in soon. I do a fair amount of street driving if that makes any difference. I don't drive my car that hard, but like to occasionaly get on it in 1st and 2nd when I'm feeling frisky. What would you recommend CF or something else?

Thanks
Gus [patriot]

I recommend it.

Little stiffer than stock, but not by a lot. No chatter, smooth, controllable engagement. Handled my 315rwhp '92 and LOTS of drag racing w/out incident. Hit lo 1.6 60ft's and ran 11.90 at 115.

Looked stock, went 11's 11.90 at 115mph.

My DF CF doesn't chatter, pedal pressure is lightest of any 5.0 clutch I've tried. Grabs very good no slippage even with power and drag radials
