i'm having problems with my brake lights. all of a sudden the brake light stop working.they were working fine before.everything else works, the turn signals,the headlight turn on and the rear light turn on too exept the brake lights.all the fuses look fine.need help asap...

I had the same problem once on my 91 GT and it turned out to be that the connector, which is located a little above and behind the brake pedal had somehow loosen. The connector looks like the type which are used to connect to the back of the speakers.
Edit: Actually follow your brake pedal upwards and you should see two wires, a lime green wire and a red/lime green wire. The red/lime green wire, which is positioned below the lime green wire, was the one I took the old connector off and replaced it. [ April 16, 2005, 09:55 PM: Message edited by: Beasty5.0 ]

ill check that out tommorrow,i also thought that the brake light switch was bad but i checked it with a tester and its workin fine..

Check to see if ther is power going to the switch. That will tell you where to start. Good luck

i already checked the switch and it is working.
