what exactly do i need to run my 88 efi car int a carb car.... basicallly do i like need a new gas tank or anything or can i use the old one....all your help is appreciated basi cally what do i need for a fuel setup

are you putting a carb on your efi car? You can use the same fuel system. You will have to use a return type regulator and set the pressure to 5-8 psi. Hope this helps. You can also do a serch on corral there is plenty of help there. You will also need the correct throttle cable. off 85 and older stang.

do you recomend braided lines or anything like a sump tank and dont you have to run a different kind of fuel pump

That was some good reading! But I disagree with the (do not use your efi pump) Thats just plain BS! Good luck either way! And he does have a good point. WHY are you thinking of doing this???

sumped tank braided lines -8 holley blue pump and reg that is what i had on my 89 coupe with a 331 and you cant forget the carb

You wouldn't use the EFI pump for two reasons... 1. It runs at 40+ psi ALL THE TIME. Throw a carb'd regulator at it, it will burn up within weeks. 2. Why would you want to go through the hassle of setting up/running a return line?
