it's all in the mind . on a stock rear suspension, i thought that the quads help eliminate any potential wheel hop. someone correct me if i'm wrong. from what i hear/read and actually did myself was removed them completely when i upgraded my LCA and UCA. plus i needed clearance for 335s .

I don't think it helps to remove them, other than you can run a bigger tire.
Does it hurt? On stock LCA's, probably.

i would only take them off if you have aftermarket control arms or you will experience a pretty bad wheel hop. at least i did.
