I finally get to pick up my car tomorrow w/ new FMS front crontrol arms, front sn-95 brakes w/ Power Slot rotors, hawk pads, SS brake lines, new 94GT MC, rear 5-lug converison (new drums and shoes), and 18x9 saleen wheels (24mm offset). I know these aren't big mods, but It's a relief to finally have the conversion done with. Here's a pic. I will post more tomorrow once it's on the ground, I hope it looks killer and I feel a difference w/ the FCA's. I'm in class right now and I so bored,....1.5 hrs to go and ticking!!!

Thanks. I have a friend who has a shop on Linden Ave. in SSF. Chico's service station is the name of the shop. Very fair prices and quality work. The owner is an asian guy, his name is Chico. He also has a gas station at the same location that has cheap prices considering the price of gas these days. Tell him Gus sent you if you need anything done.
Thanks again

I am running the FMS 5-lug drum rear conversion kit. It has the fox length axles w/ new 5-lug drums. The wheels are 18x9 all around and are mounted on 245/45 zr18 Dunlop 8000sp's. My car is at at stock height. I don't know wether the front is going to rub or not, but I don't think it will. If it does I will probably have to run a smaller tire in front.

Here are some pics of the car on the ground. The freakin front wheels seem to stick out a bit much while the rears fit perfect, I think I need a more narrow tire in the front (would it even make a difference?). Please let me know what you think. What tire size should I run in the front? I plan on lowering it soon but now that doesn't seem like an option because of the front . Please any solutions, comments, suggestions would be most appreciated.

Your car looks great. If your front tires were any wider. Someone would mistake it for a FWD car.

my tires do not rub in the front. damn I was almost positive these wheels would tuck perfectly under the front fenders. I had 18x9 cobra r's (same wheels specs as the saleens) on my 1st stang and it didn't stick out any. I thought the front setup from a 95 would keep the same track width. could it have anything to do with the new FMS control arms. I'm stumped

i believe i read in another thread very recently that the sn-95 axles are longer. which is why they stick out.

You need different offsets or something in the front to pull the wheels in. The tires size won't help your situation at all. Getting smaller tires will just make it look HORRIBLE, and still stick out.

It is a 24mm offset in the front and these wheels are not made in any other offset. I don't understand what's making the wheels stick out, I've seen others run these wheels w/o problems. Anyone out there w/ 18x9's (24mm)in front please let me know if you have similar problems
Thanks

You know what I was up all night thinking about this shit, and the only thing I could think was maybe the front was for a 96+ like you said, but the guy who I bought said it came off a 95 . damnit!now I have to to the spindles f@#k!

well I just confirmed that the spindles are from a 95 mustang. Dont know what else to do. If they are from a 95 and the wheels are 18x9 w/24mm offsett then they should tuck right under the fenders shouldn't they. Could it be my front control arms? This is really bumming out the whole experience of having my new wheels. what can I do please help
