Are these shifter's good? I have heard really good things about it. I hear they shift very nice and that they have a nice short shift? Are they worth the money?

Steeda is made by MAC and remarketed by Steeda.Pro5.0 is a bit notchy. I prefer them... feels more like the shift in an exotic.
Steeda/MAC are nice. I have one. Smooth and very short shifts. The third gear center is great.. just push forward from second and you'll pop over into third.
Don't re-use your stock handle. It's not worth it. A short handle from Pro-5.0 is great. just tall enough to hold the shifter ball.
Install a few days ago took me 20 minutes. make sure you use some RTV to seal the shifter to the tranny. After that... don't over tighten the shifter stops. Just shift into 3rd and 4th and bring the stop bolt into contact with the lever.
Good luck.

FYI - I use an MGW shifter.
Had a tri-ax before and liked it but decided to try something different.
The MGW shifter is a high quality piece and has very short throws but does have a slight "notchy" feel but most of that i attribute to the T-56 not the shifter.
They also offer 2 differnt handle lengths.
