i can get the gears meshed and everything, but it just feels like the dist is bottoming out before it gets flush, i can still see the top seal on the distributor, cant figure out how to get it all the way down, thanks any help is appreciated im trying to get my car running also if someone knows how to put pics up on the site i could probably get somepictures.. thanks, chris

well if you put markings on the dist and rotor

the distributor is not going to go all the way in if you drop it with markings aligned. try to compensate for the gear grooves so they can mesh the markings into position.
