should the timing be exactly tdc or is it better to have set differently? stock motor by the way

Between 10-14 degrees BTDC, 0 degrees would make it run like shit

can i do it without a timing light or do i have to buy one...i know its easier but if i put it on like 12degrees btdc can i just line it up with the first in firing order or am i wrong

LOL! Also, I found that the mark on the dampener is already set at 10 degrees, so don't add an aditional 10....don't forget, spout out!
BTW, if you use the light bulb in the mouth trick, you can advance or retand the timming by clenching harder or softer...or so I've heard. And whatever you do, don't let anyone pull your finger! [ March 18, 2005, 04:51 PM: Message edited by: Rickster ]
